Flip over to the Puppy Bowl for an amusing break from the game.   My husband just started working for Subaru - one of the sponsors.  Their new “Dog Tested. Dog Approved.” campaign is a great extension of this Superbowl staple.

An app that rewards positivity! “Cheers”. The iOS app will hit the store on February 9th, and the company behind it is quite impressive. The aptly named “Cheerful, Inc.” was founded by Shopzilla and BizRate.com founder Farhad Mohit and includes former Google and StumbleUpon alum. Here’s what Mohit had to say about the creation of the app:

Cheers lowers the barrier to expressing love and appreciation, making it fun and easy to do something we all feel, but have never had a dedicated place to openly share before.
Further, by creating such a space, it becomes safe to not only cheer the stuff we love, but increasingly the wonderful people in our lives as well. And when we do, those friends, teachers, heroes, and other loved ones, all in turn catch the Cheers bug and begin to share the love in their hearts too. What emerges is a truly beautiful reality: a living, growing chronicle of all the love and joy we’re surrounded by every day.

Check out a set of fun games on Silk Soymilk’s Facebook page.  Their “Least Challenging Challenge” is pretty entertaining - took me three tries to master the bubble blowing challenge but I did it!  Victory!

Delta has really been impressing me lately online.   Here’s a few snapshots from their digital holiday card that wishes you Happy Holidays from various places around the world.    Really nice execution.   Click through and check it out here.

Let Johnnie Walker help you with your holiday shopping this year via a couple tools on their Facebook page.

Not sure what message you are sending with your gift? Use the brand’s “Say It Without Saying It” app to see what the gift you are giving really is saying.    (This campaign is also being supported with nice interactive display ads.)

Made the decision to give the gift of scotch?   Use Johnnie Walker’s “Concierge” service.   A personal concierge will call you to help you choose the perfect scotch for your loved ones, order an engraved bottled of Blue Label, or create customized labels for your gift bottles.

One in Four Starbucks Transactions Now Done Via Card, Including Mobile
Starbucks customers apparently are finding buying via mobile as addictive as the company’s coffee. Less than a year after Starbucks launched an app that allows mobile payments, it has hosted 26 million such transactions on iOS, BlackBerry and Android, according to the chain. One in four Starb…
